Role: Guild Master

Role Description

Guild Leaders are the heads of interest groups such as writing, league of legends, or football enthusiasts. They are responsible for leading discussion online, getting the group together in person, etc.

Role Requirements & Guild Standing

To Achieve Excellent Standing In Your Position

(All the following conditions must be met)

  • Your Guild must have at least 1 official guild activity every 2 weeks
  • You must be present for at least 1 official guild activity every month
  • Any open positions for Journeyman or Guild Judicator within your guild are filled within 1 week of a vacancy.
  • If any of your designated guild craftsman positions open, it is filled within 1 week of a vacancy.
  • You must live within your guild’s Community Network.

To Achieve Good Standing In Your Position

(All the following conditions must be met)

  • Your Guild must have at least 1 official guild activity every month
  • You must be present for at least 1 official guild activity every 2 months
  • Any open positions for Journeyman or Guild Judicator are filled within 2 weeks of a vacancy.
  • If any of your designated guild craftsman positions open, it is filled within 2 week of a vacancy.
  • You must live within your guild’s Community Network

To Maintain Poor Standing In Your Position 

(All the following conditions must be met)

  • Your Guild must have at least 1 official guild activity every 6 weeks
  • You must be present for at least 1 official guild activity every 3 months
  • The Guild Master must live within their Community Network
  • Any open positions for Journeyman or Guild Judicator are filled within 3 weeks of vacancy
  • If any of your designated guild craftsman positions open, it is filled within 3 week of a vacancy.

You enter a Neglectful Standing In Your Position If

(Only one of the following conditions must be met)

  • Your Guild has not had a guild activity in 6 weeks
  • You haven’t been present for at least 1 official guild activity for 3 months
  • Any open position for Journeyman or Guild Judicator or your designated guild craftsman has not been filled 3 weeks following the vacancy

    Role Rewards

    You Can Reward Yourself for the Following:

    Maximum: 5 Total Per Week

    2 Experience is earned every time one of the following events takes place:

    • An Official Guild Activity was held for your guild (Max 2 per week)

    1 Experience is earned every time one of the following events takes place:

    • You spent 1 hour, with at least 1 Journeyman present, planning an Official Guild Activity (Max 2 per week)
    • You spent 1 hour preparing for a guild activity, in a way other than planning, that benefits the attendees of the guild activity. (Max 2 per week)

    Rewards Your Role Can Offer

    Guild Activity Participation

    Maximum: 1 Per Day Per Guild Member

    1 Experience can be given to a member of your guild for going to an Official House Activity and Spending at least 30 minutes there (Max: 1 per official house activity. To help you in your role, this reward can also be offered by Journeymen, however a guild member should only receive 1 experience per activity for attendance)

    Guild Activity Preparation

    1 Experience can be given to a member of your guild for at least 30 minutes of dedicated time assisting you in putting together an official house activity (Weekly Pool: ½ the # of registered house members. This experience should not be rewarded to a Journeyman. To help you in your role, this reward can also be offered by Journeymen , however a Guild member should only receive 1 experience per activity they have assisted in preparing. Weekly experience Pool for Guild Activity Preparation is shared with Journeymen)

    Succession In Your Role

    To Obtain This Role

    (All the following conditions must be met before you can take the role of Guild Master)

    • The role of Guild Master must be vacant or the current Guild Master can be succeeded
    • You must live within the same community network as your guild.
    • You must be the Senior most Journeyman with good standing within the guild. (However, if an individual 1 higher than you passes on accepting the role of Guild Master, then you qualify as the most Senior as it pertains to accepting the Guild Master role) 

    You can be Succeeded In Your Position If

    (Only one of the following conditions must be met)

    • You willingly resign.
    • You no longer live within the community network your guild is located in.
    • You have had no contact with your guild for 2 weeks and the guild journeymen have not been provided information on your return.
    • You enter a “Neglectful Standing” in your role as Guild Master.
    • You incur a Major Infraction.
